POSITION
Summary:
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:


  1. Project Planning “ develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Team Leadership “ lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Assign tasks and responsibilities, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Resource Management “ Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and materials. Monitor resource usage and adjust plans to ensure project success.
  4. Risk Management “ Identify potential risk and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risk throughout the project life cycle.
  5. Stakeholder Communication “ Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations. Address concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  6. Quality Assurance “ Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables. Implement testing and quality control measures to meet specifications.
  7. Budget and Timeline Management “ Develop and manage project budgets, making adjustments as necessary. Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress against timelines.
  8. Problem Solving “ Address issues and challenges promptly, implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  9. Documentation “ Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Archive project documentation in accordance with company policies.
  10. Project Closure “ Conduct thorough project reviews, including lessons learned analyses. Ensure final documentation is completed and archived appropriately.


Basic Qualifications

EDUCATION AND
Experience:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  3. Proven experience managing the development of new products in a highly technical environment (minimum 3 years). Turbomachinery specific experience is preferred, but not required.
  4. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  5. Ability to balance technical requirements with project constraints effectively.
  6. Hands on - willingness to jump in and help fellow engineers and technicians with assembly, testing, and/or data collection.
  7. Must be a US citizen or green card holder.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
